Only FOUR More Days!

Well it's getting close folks until Christmas. I know some are more than ready, but not me! I still have a few more gifts to buy! Yikes!!!!!! Cutting it close to say the least...... We have been so busy with doctor visits, school programs and parties, and not to mention church programs and parties, whew I'm tried just thinking about it all.
My kids are getting ready for the man in the Red Suit, so today we did a little "spring cleaning" in December! After 12 trash bags we might be ready...... I'm telling you, from the looks of those bags Christmas has already come and gone at the Daniel house.... What could they possibly need..... More stuff----- Emma-Claire said as she was cleaning her room..... Oh to be a child again.......

I hope everyone has a great Christmas with family and friends and let us all remember the REAL REASON FOR THE SEASON! JESUS CHRIST!

MERRY CHRISTMAS !

The Little Pea Pod

Today I went to the doctor and had my first sonogram. Carl and I got to see the little pea pod (that's what I'm calling the baby) and see the little heart beating. Can I just tell you that I fell to pieces when I saw the heart beating and heard the sweet sound. God is amazing!

Everything was right on tract, 10 weeks, which I was so glad. The nurse who did the sonogram printed pictures for us and even put the pictures and the heart beat on the VHS tape. I really have forgotten how all this works, but I'm sure I will start remembering as time goes by.

Please keep us in your prayers. Pray that both baby and I have a great pregnancy.

God Bless you and yours this holiday season........

Love

SURPRISE, SURPRISE !

Today I went to the doctor and he confirmed what I already knew.
You guessed it, I'M PREGNANT ! Can you believe this! We already have 2 great kids and now, wow, we are going to have another addition to our family...... At first I couldn't believe it but now after several weeks of thinking and praying about our little addition, I am now okay with the fact that God has chosen to give us another child to love and to raise.
Both Will and Emma-Claire are so excited, but I really think Emma-Claire is the most excited. She keeps asking me if it is going to be a girl or boy, and I keep telling her that we don't know yet. She is so much like me in the fact that she doesn't like to wait on anything....... Maybe in a few months we can find out!

Please pray for our family as we begin this new chapter in all of our lives.......

Happy Thanksgiving and remember to give God all the praise and glory this Thanksgiving holiday !

Halloween Night

Here are Emma-Claire and Will dressed up in their costumes.

Our Little MSU Cheerleader

Emma-Claire went with us on Saturday to the MSU game in Starkville. This was her first game to attended and boy did she enjoy herself. The MSU cheerleaders held a Cheer Camp and Emma-Claire went. They practice the cheers from 11:15 until 12:15 and then they performed for the parents. At half time the girls that attended the cheer camp got to go out on the field and perform. Emma-Claire was so excited!!!! She did a really good job. I think we might have a future MSU cheerleader! GO DAWGS! Even though the Dawgs lost we had a great day!!!!!

Here are some pictures from our day........

ROAD TRIP .......

I need to explain this entry before I begin: I emailed my brother, my mom, my dad, and my friend Katie to tell them that I had started my own blog and for them to read it. Well I came back from lunch today and I had an email from my brother and he wanted to know why I didn't write about our visit to his house last Saturday. To be honest, I forgot! So now that he has brought this to my attention I am going to write about our visit.

Last Saturday, Carl, Will, Emma-Claire, Nana, Pops, and I went to Olive Branch to see my brother and his family. It had been a while since we all had seen each other so we made a road trip. The kids got to play together, which was very nice.
Now when we go to visit him, we ALWAYS have to make a Target trip. So, mom and dad, Carrie, Karen(Carrie's mom who lives with them), and myself all went to Target.
We all did a little shopping and then went back to Brad's and picked up Carl, Brad, and the kids and went to Uncle Chuck's to have supper. We all ate very well and were full as ticks.Ha! Ha!
Everyone had a good time....

This is for my brother who thinks I'm nuts for having a blog, a my space page and a THS page..... Hope you enjoy!!!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY HUSBAND !

Yesterday was Carl Hinton's birthday, he turned 41! I took him to lunch at our favorite place in Houston called My Friend's Place. It's a cute little gift shop and tea room. Mrs. Nancy severs plate lunches every day and they ALWAYS have chicken salad... It's the BEST!!!!!!

We've had revival at church this week so we celebrated his birthday during lunch time yesterday. He enjoyed himself and filled his stomach up...... Anyone that knows Carl Hinton knows he LOVES to eat!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARL HINTON!!!
WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

OCTOBER - LET THE FUN BEGIN.........

This month is a very busy month for our family. We begin celebrating birthdays for 6people in our family. The birthdays begin with Karly Beth who will be 7 tomorrow (she is Carl's cousin Wendy's oldest child) Then Cara's birthday is the 4th of October (she is married to Carl's cousin Chris) Then on the 7th of October is Colton's birthday (he will be 2) he is Chris and Cara's little boy. Ok, now on the
8th of October is my wonderful husband's birthday. He will be 41!!!!! October 9th is his grandmother's birthday and then to top off the end of the month is none other than Emma-Claire's birthday. She will be 6 years old. I can't believe my baby will be another year older. Gosh where does the time go.
So you see we are FULL of birthdays for this month.

Also this month Will and Emma-Claire will be taking some field trips with their school.
Emma-Claire and I are going to the Pumpkin Patch in Blue Mountain, Ms tomorrow with her kindergarten class. I know we will have a blast... I will try to post some pictures from our trip tomorrow night.
At the end of the month both of my kids are going to see Disney on Ice at the Bancorpsouth Center in Tupelo with their school. I know they will enjoy that.

So, do you think we will be busy or what?

School is also keeping us busy too! Will wanted to complete an extra credit grade for science so he had to make an animal cell. Yes you heard me correct... So his BEBE and I made an animal cell out of a cake and then we decorated it with candy to look like the picture we had. I have to say it turned out really good.... I'm going to post a picture of it (I hope)

Well it's late and I've got to get my beauty rest for tomorrow, so I'll have to say goodnight.

A Week Has Come and Gone !

Well it has been a week since I posted anything so I thought that I might need to say something. Our week has been busy as always. Emma-Claire has gymnastics and dance on Mondays and Tuesdays in Houston so I pick up her and her two cousins on those days. Tuesday night we stayed in Houston after dance because our Jr. high school football team (yes we have a football team now) played. Of course we have to go and cheer for our WILDCATS! Although our guys didn't win they played hard.

Wednesday night our children's group went to Pontotoc, MS to go roller skating. We had 45 children to go.... Whew, it was nuts!!!!!! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the skating and pizza.

Now Thursday night our high school football team played in New Site. It was supposed to be in Houston (b/c that's where we are playing our home games)but b/c of all the rain we got last Friday and Saturday the field was just not playable.
Now to the best part of this story: My dear and loving husband was driving us to the game and got us lost..... Yeah, lost! He thought he knew where he was going but guess what he didn't....... So when we ended up in Booneville I knew we were lost... You see I had already been to this field b/c we played our first game there back at the start of the season, but like most men he didn't think I knew what I was talking about sooooooooooooo after 30 miles later we made it.... He won't be driving us back !!!!!!!

Friday night I went to dinner and a movie with my friend Crystie and her friend Nat. We went to see It's All About THE WOMEN, it was alright. Kinda reminded me of SEX and THE CITY.

Saturday we just hung out around the house and then after Carl got home from calling some pee wee football games we headed to Tupelo to my parents. We had dinner with them and of course we watched the MSU VS LSU game. We didn't win but we showed improvement.......

Today we went to church and then this afternoon we enjoyed the sunshine.
Had to make a Wal-Mart trip too so now the day is complete..... Ha!

Hope everyone has a great week!!!!!

Blogging, What's That?

This idea of me blogging well it hasn't been what I thought it would be. The thought of me having to sit down and type about my day and what has been going on sometimes gets the best of me. I enjoy way better looking at other blogs and seeing other layouts rather than blogging on my own blog. I guess you could say that I am cyber staking.HA HA
This afternoon I turned on my computer and pulled up one of my friends blog and I notice she had changed her layout, so what do I do, I changed my layout. Nothing like being a copy cat!!!! I loved her page so I went to the site that she got hers from and I got a new page layout. I'm sure this is just a thrill to the 1 person reading this, which right now is ME!!!!

Anyway, just an update on my dad. He is doing much better since he has been home from the hospital. He came home on Monday of this past week and every day he has gotten better. He even went to church today. Yey..... He goes back to the doctor tomorrow so I hope that his doctor tells him that he can drive. He hasn't been able to do that this week.
All in all we have had a good weekend. On Friday night Will went to spend the night with a friend so I let Emma-Claire have a friend over at our house. The girls were very good so I really couldn't complain.
Saturday it rained mostly all morning and after lunch, Will and I ran to Tupelo to do a little shopping and went by to see Pops(aka my dad). He was watching football. Yes it was the MSU- Georgia Tech game, need I say anything else....

Carl had a pretty busy Friday and Saturday calling football games. He was really tried when he got home Saturday afternoon.... He and I went to a wedding on Saturday night, it was really sweet and very pretty.
We all went to church this morning and we will go back tonight, so now this afternoon as I write everyone is just relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.....
Have a great Sunday.........

Family.........

Since Wednesday night my dad has been sick and is in the North Mississippi Medical Center. What we thought was just a virus ended up beinging his appendix. So you guessed it, he had an appendectomy on Thursday morning. Everything went well but I think he thought he would be up and at it today, well that's not the case... He's not as young as he used to be, so he will be there until Monday (we hope). Let's hope tomorrow will be a better day for all.....

Last night Houlka played their first home football game. Well it's really not home because we are having to play in Houston until we get our own field but never the less we played... We didn't win but we did play great defense in spite of the score 38 - 0 !!!!! Our offense on the other hand, well let's just say needs impovement....... BUT there is hope, this is our first year and we WILL get better, maybe even score......... Emma-Claire and about oh 15 other little girls her age got to cheer with the BIG cheerleaders last night too.... I don't have pictures yet but I will have some maybe by the end of the weekend..... They were sooooooooooo cute!!!!

Everyone had a good time and maybe just maybe the Houlka Wildcats can pull one off a win before the end of the season...... GO WILDCATS!!!!!!

I Haven't Forgotten......

I know, I know it's been several days that I've blogged but time just gets away. We have been busy with work, school, dance, gymnastics and football, gosh where does the day go.
Last weekend we went to Starkville to see the MSU Bulldogs play. I'm glad to report that they won..... (smile) A fun time was enjoyed by all!
Maybe soon I will learn how to put pics up on the page.....

12 Years and Counting.........

This weekend was mine and Carl's 12th year of marriage. Yeah I know wooooooo hoooooooo!!! But anyway we went out on Friday night because on Saturday we had to watch some MSU football and we had family in for the holiday. We went to eat at Romie's in Tupelo. Let me just tell you it was great.
Like I said Saturday was the big day, MSU FOOTBALL !!!! Now anyone that knows my husband knows that he lives for MSU FOOTBALL, but need less to say the game didn't go as planned in his mind. Yes, State lost! We were very sad, BUT there is always next Saturday.........

On Monday, which was Labor Day, Will, Carl, Luke, and my dad all went dove hunting. They killed three so the boys were happy... I guess anyone can be happy at 4:00 in the a.m. NOT ME !!!!!!
